“If you are serving the needy people, don'tthink that you are helping others. Instead, keep thinking that a person in trouble is giving you an opportunity to earn punya,? said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri K.S. Sudarshan. He was inaugurating 33rd anniversary function of SVMA Kendram, Bommuru in East Godavati district of Purva Andhra Pradesh on January 3. Shri Sudarshan also inaugurated a 10-bedded medical ward in the Kendram. Over 2000 wellwishers of the Kendram participated in the function.

Quoting King Rantideva, Shri Sudarshan exhorted the audience to follow his example. King Rantideva always wanted to serve the needy people and renounced even heaven and moksha also to continue to serve. He appealed to the people to come forward and help the organisations such as Vivekananda Maharoga Arogya Kendram, which is providing shelter and other amenities to around 100 leprosy patients and their children.

Shri Sudarshan further said, ?Our land is our punyabhoomi and karmabhoomi and it is our fortune to take birth in this country. Even angels wish to take birth in this land and attain moksha thereby because attainment of Atma sakshatkara is possible on this land only. The sages of our country used to explain the most difficult darsanas of our Shastras in simple parables so that even an ordinary person can understand them.? (FOC)
