Material required
* A cardboard box
* An adhesive
* Scraps of fabric
* A pair of scissors
* A twig or a cork
* Poster colours
Method
* Paint the box in a dark chocolate brown or paste a black coloured paper on the box
* Cut pieces of cloth into the shape of butterflies, that is, only the upper wings and the lower wings in different colours
* Mount the scraps or the wings on the cardboard box
* A cork or twig can be used to spread and paste the scraps of wings on the box
* Use different designed cloth pieces to make the wings of butterflies or make the wings more colourful by pasting on top of the wings different coloured dots or stripes. Better still would be to paint the dots and other designs on the wings with poster colours
* The body and the antennae of the butterflies can be painted in yellow ochre or drawn with felt pens
