VHP general secretary Dr Pravin Togadia served a legal notice against some media reports that he funded some organisations like Abhinav Bharat. The notice was served by his counsel Dipak Shukla on November 24. ?This is to bring to the notice of all concerned that my client firmly denies any funding or involvement related to Abhinav Bharat or any of their affiliated or non-affiliated people whatsoever or whosoever and any of their activities whatsoever. Any attempt by any electronic media, print media, any public or private communicators, any government or private agency or anyone whosoever to spread the above or any such malafide, false, derogatory and criminally defamatory lies about my client will attract civil and criminal legal action as deemed fit,? the notice said. Any damage to my client'spublic and social image, standing as well as his organisation'simage and standing as well as his family'ssocial standing or businesses will be the sole liability of anyone who tries to spread the above malafide rumour, the notice added.
