Noted social activist, writer and former chairman of Shree Burrabazar Kumarsabha Pustakalaya Shri Jugal Kishor Jaitalia was felicitated with Acharya Vishnukant Shastri Hindi Sewa Samman for his outstanding services to Hindu literature. The samman was presented at a function held in Etava, Uttar Pradesh, on November 11 by Governor of Chhattisgarh Shri S.L. Narasimhan. The samman consists of a shawl, citation and memento. Shri Vikas Shridhar Sirpurkar, former judge of Supreme Court, presided over the function. He said Hindi would be strengthened with the development of regional languages. Thirteen other literary persons came from different parts of the country were also honoured on the occasion. Former Governor Shri Trilokinath Charturvedi, former Union Minister Shri Shantibhushan, former speaker of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Shri Kesharinath Tripathi and former Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Shri Gokhale were also present on the occasion.
