Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat has decided to publish a multi-colour calendar on completion of 300 years of Shri Guru Granth Saheb. The Panchayat has also decided to publish a multi-colour diary on the birth centenary year of Sant Tukdoji Maharaj, 400-birth anniversary of Samarth Ramdas and 631-birth anniversary of Sant Ravidas. According to Shri Somnath Khedkar, general secretary of Grahak Panchayat, the diary will contain rare pictures of the great personalities. The calendar and the diary will be published in 2009. Apart from the calendar and the diary, the Panchayat has also formulated an extensive programme to educate the consumers about their rights. It organised seven seminars in Delhi for this purpose and also released seven books on various issues related to the consumer rights.
