RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri K.S. Sudarshan congratulated Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samtiti, constituted under the convenorship of Shri Leelakaran Sharma, for achieving success in getting back the land for Shri Amarnath Shrine Board. In a statement Shri Sudarshan said it was the result of firm determination, wisdom and continuous fight by the people under the banner of the Samiti that the J&K Government had to return the land, which had been taken away by the Governor under pressure from the separatists. ?If the government had shown the courage to stand by the law enacted by itself in the assembly right from the beginning, the people of Jammu & Kashmir would not have suffered so many hardships, suppression and economic loss. As an English saying goes ?better late then never?, the government should also be thanked for respecting the sentiments of the people,? Shri Sudarshan added.

He further said the efforts were made to defame the agitation by describing it as communal, but the way people belonging to all sections of the society irrespective of their castes, creed, etc., stood unitedly and firmly with the agitating people of Jammu should also be congratulated and this unity and oneness should be emulated. People of Islam, Christianity and other communities of the country including Jammu division supported this agitation from heart and it became the foundation of success of this agitation. The blessings of all revered Acharyas, saints, rishis and munis of the country provided a divine and valuable support to the agitation. Paying my deepest condolence to all the people who sacrificed their lives in this agitation I once again congratulate the people of the country including the people of Jammu for achieving success in this agitation,? Shri Sudarshan added.
