RSS National Executive Member Shri Ram Madhav called upon the countrymen to get united against three crore Bangladeshi infiltrators who entered in the country. He was addressing a gathering assembled at Akhand Bharat Sankalp Diwas in Varanasi on August 14. The function was organised by city unit of ABVP. Dr Shailesh Mishra presided over the function.

Shri Ram Madhav pointed out that Dr Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, in his book, India Divided, had described the Partition as ?impossible and unpractical?. Congress in its Allahabad convention too had passed a resolution for Akhand Bharat. But despite that the country was divided. The problems for which the Partition had been accepted 61 years back not only still exist but also have assumed more dangerous form. He called upon the people to resolve this day to fight against the anti-national forces. He said if the land was not restored to the Amarnath shrine Board in Kashmir it would be like surrendering before the anti-national forces. He said if the people get untied no terrorist outfit could survive.

Akhand Bharat Divas was also celebrated by Orissa unit of Bajrang Dal in Bhubneswar. A function was organised at Master Canteen Square, where Puja ceremony was performed and the activists of Bajrang Dal pledged for the reformation of Akhand Bharat. Bajrang Dal state coordinator Shri Umashankar Acharya, VHP Bhubaneswar president Dr Nagen Debata, Prasana Rana, Tapas Mandhatta, Chinmay Mohapatra and Gomiyakesh Dash and many others highlighted the glory of Akhand Bharat and said there was a time when Nepal, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Burma were part of the Bharat. But with the passage of time these had become separate countries. Later, they staged a rally on motorcycles in the state capital and raised slogans for Akhand Bharat.

Akhand Hindusthan Morcha also organised a function at PSK hall in Delhi on August 14 where thousands of people belonging to various organisations pledged for reuniting India under the leadership of Shri B.L. Sharma ?Prem?.
