VHP observes birth anniversary of Prithviraj Chauhan

Birth anniversary of Prithviraj Chauhan was observed in Ajmer, Pali, Rajsamand and Bhilwara districts of Rajasthan from May 29 to 31. The massive processions, organised to celebrate the anniversary, passed through 100 villages. More than 2000 people from 25 villages assembled at Ajesar village under Ajmer district on May 29. Mahant Amritaram Maharaj, member of VHP Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal, Minister of State for Education in Rajasthan Shri Vasudev Devnanai addressed the gathering. Similarly, at the function held at Sendara village under Pali district more than 2500 people from 40 villages were present. VHP general secretary Dr Pravin Togadia and central secretary of VHP Shri Mohan Joshi addressed the gathering. Dr Togadia also unveiled a statue of Prathviraj Chauhan at Devkhera village under Rajsamand district on May 31. Shri Jagdish Singh of Magra Merwada Chauhan Rajput Mahasabha and Mahant Amritram Maharaj also addressed the gathering.
