The allocation of Rs. 1000 crore in budget for Muslims must be opposed tooth and nail as it violates the Constitution and also the RBI Act. It amounts to payment of jaziya by the majority community for the benefit of Muslims. The budgetary allocations by the Government on the basis of religion deserve strong support from all concerned.
