Protest in Visakhapatnam against negative version of Ramayana in DU

Vidya Samrakshan Samiti, organised a protest march in Visakhapatnam on February 25 against the negative version of Ramayana being taught in Delhi University. More than 500 people including students, teachers, lecturers and several educationists participated in the march.

Prof. G.S.A. Narasimham, secretary of Bharatiya Vidya Kendram, Sri K. Saibaba, convener of Vidya Samrakshan Samiti, Sri P.V. Narayanrao from BJP, Sri Bhavani Sankarudu from BMS and Sri K. Ramarao from ABVP, submitted the memorandum to District Collector. The district authorities also responded positively to the move taken up by Vidya Samrakshana Samiti.

Prior to the procession, a press conference was organised on February 23 where all the history distortions made by the UPA government, were briefed to the press by Prof. D. Visweswaram and Sri G.S.A. Narasimham.
