FORD India has unveiled the future of premium action sports utility vehicle with the launch of all-new Endeavour.
Unveiling the new Ford Endeavour, Arvind Mathew, managing director and president, Ford India said, ?The new Endeavour is a supreme combination of the latest in vehicle engineering and legendary ?Built Ford Tough? ruggedness that is a hallmark of Ford SUVs across the globe.?
The new Ford Endeavour featuring turbo-diesel common rail injection (TDCi) engine delivers 143 PS peak power and delivers astounding torque of 330 Nm for faster acceleration and better drivability.
Priced at Rs. 14, 72,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the 4X2 wheel drive variant and Rs. 15,62,000(ex-showroom, Delhi) for the true blue 4X4 wheel drive enthusiasts, Ford India is also launching a Limited Edition variant packed with additional exciting features priced at Rs. 15,52,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Ford Endeavour boasts a host of upgrades over the previous model including:
o A 2.5-litre turbo-diesel common rail injection engine that delivers a peak torque of 330 Newton-metres at 1800 rpm and power of 143 PS at 3500 rpm.
o New five-speed manual transmission that offers a more car-like feel with a shorter lever and reduced throw between gears.
o New 4×4 transfer case.
o New frame, suspension and steering gear.
o New 16? alloy wheels, bigging and bolder over fenders.
o New multi reflector headlamps, clear fog lamps, tail lamps.
The interiors of the new Endeavour are designed to offer a luxurious experience and will feature:
o New camel environment and leather seats.
o New heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system.
o New audio system incorporating six-stack CD and MP3.
o Twin-bin centre console of storing up to 10 CDs, six cup holders and new bigger pouch in the front door trim panels that can house one litre bottle.
