India beat China and emerged as the largest ?workforce providing nation? last year and is likely to see its share grow in 2007, according to WWICS Global Resettlement Solutions chairman and managing director B.S. Sandhu. He was in Chennai recently. Over one lakh skilled workers were able to obtain Canadian visas this year. Canada requires thousands of qualified and skilled professionals. Indians and south Indians, in particular, are much sought after.
