?All efforts are to be made to eliminate casteism from the Hindu society as it has no place in the society?, emphasised Bhaiyaji Joshi, Sahsarkaryavah of RSS, while addressing a gathering in Jammu. Terming casteism a big social evil, he said there should be no discrimination between one individual and another on the basis of caste. He was the chief guest in the Samajik Sadbhhav meet organised by Shri Guruji Janma Shatabdi Samaroh Samiti in Jammu. He said the need of the hour is that the entire Hindu society should unitedly face the challenges.

Maintaining that the solution of all problems lies in Hindu society getting united, the RSS leader said Hindus have brought changes in the society according to the changing circumstances from time to time in past and they should continue to adopt the same strategy at present also.

Admitting that the prevalent social evils in Hindu society are because of illiteracy, backwardness and poverty, he said it is the duty of entire society to find a solution to get rid of these problems.

He said these are the reasons that other religions succeeded in eroding Hindu Samaj and enforcing conversions on it. ?But we have to be vigilant and thwart the designs of all such forces inimical to our cause?, he added.

Urging the politicians to work in the national interests, he warned them against creating division in the society on the basis of religion, region and language for their vested interests.

He claimed that the RSS has been working for unity of the society and the nation since 1925 and its cadres will take this message to every nook and corner of the country

Other speakers included Mahant Gurdeep Giri from Pathankote, Prof K.L. Bhatia, Prant Sanghachalak, Brig. Sucheet Singh and President Janma Shatabdi Samiti. Prant Seva Parmukh, Sudesh Paul was the stage secretary while vote of thanks was proposed by Amarchand Gupta.  From Khajuria S. Kant in Jammu
