For the last quite sometime the BJP at Centre has been receiving complaints from various quarters that the functioning of the Overseas Friends of Bharatiya Janata Party in America had caused serious groupism and factionalism in the organisation and as a result great damage and harm was done to the cause of the BJP and its ideology. After ascertaining facts, continued efforts were made during the last over one year, both in America and India, by many friends and well-wishers of the Party and its senior leaders, to get things rectified. But, unfortunately they failed in making the present functionaries of the OFBJP (USA) to see the mess they had made of the organisation and agree to take corrective steps to undo the damage already done by working unitedly.
Having reached the tether of its patience the BJP has finally at the highest level decided to severe its ties with the OFBJP (USA), disassociate itself from all its activities and make this decision public. Their using the name of the BJP henceforth will be unauthorised.
Leaders, workers, friends, and well-wishers of the BJP in India and outside are advised not to associate, in any manner, with the activities of the OFBJP (USA), till the matters improve and the organisation reverses its decision.
I shall appreciate if this fact is made known to all friends so that the prevailing confusion is removed from everybody'smind.?
