Sangh Samachar Girls rally in memory of Rani Durgavati

The glorious traditions of Gondvana regime came alive in Jabalpur city on June 24 when girls dressed as Rani Durgavati, took out a 7-km-long procession. The procession, which was widely welcomed by the people of the city, was organised by Van Sahitya Acadami. Shri Omprakash Dhurve, Sports Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Moti Kashyap, Revenue Minister and Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste, MP, were also present in the rally to encourage the children. Later in the evening Shri Kripa Prasad Singh, general secretary of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, called upon the participants to preserve the cultural uniqueness of Vanvasis. Shri Ishwardas Rohani, Speaker, Madhya Pradesh Assembly, was also present on the occasion. The Van Sahitya Acadami also organised a Rani Durgavati dress competition in which 312 girls participated.
