Develop the feeling of unity among Hindus-Mohan Bhagwat FOC ?The Muslims and Christians are not a problem today; the biggest task before us is to unite the Hindus. This is our main task, for which the saints and seers of the country are working,? said Shri Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah of RSS. He was inaugurating the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Chintan shivir of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Prayag on February 9. Over 300 saints from different parts of the country participated in the shivir. Shri Bhagwat said that the society needed to be made stronger for restoring the Dharma. He regretted that the Western countries were spreading their culture in our country so the entire Hindu society would have to awoken to it. Harassment of S. Gurumurthy by TN police FOC The Swadeshi Jagaran Manch (SJM) has warned the Tamil Nadu police to take the issue of harassment of Shri Gurumurthy to the streets. The SJM called it unconstitutional to curb the rights of expression of Shri S. Gurumurthy. ?The SJM wishes to bring to the notice of the public the exemplary work undertaken in the field of economic studies under the guidance of Shri Gurumurthy. The SJM is a movement involved in the reconstruction of the nation. Any attempt to stifle the voice of important office-bearers of the organisations like that of Shri Gurumurthy, will have consequences detrimental to the cause of the nation. The SJM warns the authorities against exercising illegal and unconstitutional powers to harass or persecute Gurumurthy or else it would take the issue to the people and expose the designs of the government. The SJM also warns that ultimately those in power must understand that in a democracy they are answerable to the public at large.? (FOC) |
