The Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat organised a seminar in Jaipur to make the people aware of their consumer rights. The Grahak Panchayat has been undertaking countrywide campaigns against spurious drugs and cold drinks and persuading people to purchase goods with the ISI mark. The consumers were advised to be wary of exploitation by shopkeepers and manufacturers. The seminar demanded that cost of production and minimum retail price instead of maximum retail price should be published on every product.
