Wt. Over 200 lives have been lost in the state. Saha Kshetriya Pracharak, Shri S. Sethumadhavan, Prant Pracharak, Shri A. Gopalakrishnan, and Kummanan Rajasekharanji have visited the affected areas and given proper guidance to the workers. About 3,000 Swayamsevaks are participating in the rescue work. A total of 48 camps are working throughout the state for relief. Fourteen ambulances, doctors from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Ernakulam are serving at the centres. All the necessary medicines have been collected from various places by the Swayamsevaks and are being distributed in the camps. Food, clothes and bedding facilities have been provided by Seva Bharathi to almost 15,000 victims. The government authorities have specially appreciated the relief work of Seva Bharathi. Swayamsevaks were in the forefront among those responsible for removing and cremating the dead bodies. | A short biography on Shri Guruji FOC “Na Hindu patito bhavet” (no Hindu is ever fallen) this mantra was the unequivocal faith of Shri Guruji. When Shri Guruji passed away, in an unprecedented gesture, the parliament paid tributes to him, who has never been its member.
