Paying tributes to Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Ram Prakash Gupta, Sarsanghchalak K.S. Sudarshan said that it was a misfortune that Ram Prakash Gupta, a dedicated social worker, left for his heavenly abode. Shri Sudarshan said he had talked to Ram Prakash Gupta a few days ago and had enquired about his health. ?Endowed with sharp intelligence, soft spoken and blessed with strong conviction, Ram Prakash Gupta remained Sangh Pracharak from 1946 to 1952 in Uttar Pradesh.

Despite entering family life, he was active in public life through the anti-cow slaughter movement and the Jana Sangh. He belonged to a generation which was committed to value-based politics. Whichever posts he held, be it as a Minister in UP government, Deputy Chief Minister of UP or later Governor of Madhya Pradesh, he honoured the post with his farsightedness, strong conviction and capabilities. He never compromised with his principles. Seeing today´s politics the departure of such a person leaves pain in the mind,? Shri Sudarshan added.
