In this fast-moving world, a vast number of critical stories and vital information, particularly those concerning targeted attacks on the Hindu community, are frequently minimised, suppressed, or dismissed by sections of the so-called mainstream media as mere propaganda. The onus, therefore, lies with us at Organiser, the nation’s oldest nationalist weekly, which has historically stood as the uncompromising voice of Hindus facing systemic hostility, detention, physical attacks, and worse.

Organiser has never wavered in its commitment to addressing the legitimate concerns and security fears of Hindus. We are starting this new weekly series to track targeted attacks against Hindus occurring not only across Bharat but also globally. This series will not merely document the attacks; it will also highlight the resistance, the community uprisings, and the voices of the unheard victims.

This first report is a chilling compilation of cases tracked last week, detailing incidents of targeted attacks against Hindus worldwide. These cases collectively reveal a troubling, discernible pattern, which includes the sacrilege and desecration of temples, the exploitation and assault of Hindu women through deceit and coercion, and the murder of community members and activists.

A Case You Should Know: A gruesome case has left Kanpur stunned, police have arrested a man identified as Mohammed Wahid, who had allegedly been living under the false Hindu identity of “Rohit”, for the murder of a Hindu woman with whom he had been in a live-in relationship for eight years. The crime surfaced after neighbours in the Laxmipurwa area under Raipurwa police station limits complained of a foul odour emanating from the couple’s rented accommodation. When police arrived on November 1, they discovered the decomposing body of the woman, later identified as Archana alias Bharti Gautam, hidden under the bed and covered with clothes in an attempt to conceal it. A forensic team was called in to collect evidence, and the body was subsequently sent for post-mortem examination.

According to the police, Wahid had been living with the victim under the name “Rohit” for nearly a decade, successfully concealing his real identity from neighbours. The truth emerged only when investigators recovered his Aadhaar card, revealing his actual name as Mohammed Wahid. During interrogation, Wahid confessed to strangling Archana with a dupatta on the night of October 29, following a heated argument, and then hiding her body under the cot before fleeing the scene.

October 30: Targeted Assassination, Abduction, and Hate Crimes

1. The killing of Nilesh Rajak: In a major act of violence on October 28, 2025, in Katni, Madhya Pradesh, BJP OBC Morcha leader Nilesh Rajak was fatally shot by unidentified assailants while returning home late at night. Rajak was well-known for his active efforts in exposing local radical networks, including those with alleged links to the outlawed SIMI group and those involved in ‘Love Jihad’ activities in the region. The attack occurred near his residence, with police recovering multiple bullet casings from the scene, suggesting a professional hit. The murder has ignited widespread outrage within the BJP and among local communities, who strongly assert that this was a targeted killing aimed at silencing a vocal opponent of radicalism.

2. Gwalior-Jaipur abduction and sexual assault case: A coordinated effort involving police forces from three states led to the arrest of Sahil Khan for the abduction and sexual assault of a Hindu girl. The accused had reportedly lured the victim under the pretext of marriage.

3. Indian-origin businessman killed in Canada: An Indian entrepreneur was brutally assaulted and killed in Canada in an incident that local police are investigating as a potentially racially motivated attack. This case adds to a disturbing trend of hate crimes against Indians residing abroad, underscoring the increasing vulnerability of diaspora Hindus even within outwardly liberal Western democracies.

4. Assault and coercion in Indore: A 24-year-old Dalit woman in Indore reported a months-long ordeal involving assault, blackmail, and relentless pressure from two men to change her faith. Police have collected crucial digital evidence and have promised a full investigation, with community organisations stepping forward to support the survivor.

5. Jaunpur conversion for cash probe: Authorities in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, initiated an inquiry into alarming reports that Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000 was being offered to poor Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backwards Class (OBC) families to convert to another faith while being guaranteed the retention of their existing government welfare benefits. The inquiry is proceeding under the stringent provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act.

1. Jagaddhatri murtis desecrated: In Mandirbazar (Mallikpur), South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, artisans discovered several Jagaddhatri murtis with their heads severed inside a workshop. Villagers immediately alerted the police, who are reviewing CCTV footage. The attack provoked strong political statements and local protests demanding enhanced protection for religious artisans and puja workshops in the area.

2. Dalit woman’s suicide amid conversion pressure: A young Dalit woman in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, reportedly died by suicide following intense pressure to marry and convert. Her family members staged protests outside the police station, demanding immediate arrests. Local officials confirm an inquiry is underway, though the case was primarily covered by local Hindi media.

3. Forced migration in Sagar due to intimidation: Families from two mohallas in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, reported repeated intimidation and clashes allegedly orchestrated by Islamist elements, leading several families to relocate. Municipal authorities have ordered extra patrols, but the displaced families have demanded durable, long-term security assurances before considering a return to their homes.

4. Exploitation and conversion attempts: Multiple cases of exploitation and attempted conversion were registered:

Ramnagar (Nainital, Uttarakhand): A minor girl was allegedly assaulted, and a clip of the incident was circulated online. Police launched digital forensics to trace the video’s origin, investigating potential links to an earlier, similar case in the district.

Jalaun (Uttar Pradesh): A teenager alleged she was lured by a man named Iqbal who used the false Hindu identity ‘Amod’. She was subsequently pressured to convert over days of exploitation. The family lodged a complaint, and an FIR was registered, with a search launched for the accused.

Jaunpur (Kerakat): Police arrested four individuals (Geeta Devi, Ranjana Kumari, Sonu, and Vijay Kumar) following complaints that “healing meetings” were used to lure Dalit Hindus with promises before pressuring them to convert. Items seized included mobile phones, Bibles, and registers. The arrested individuals face charges under the Uttar Pradesh anti-conversion law.

5. Deception, assault, and forced consumption of beef: In Pachhwadun, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, a Hindu woman was deceived and exploited by a Muslim man who concealed his identity and posed as a Hindu named Sameer Chaudhary alias Sam. He trapped the woman with a false promise of marriage. When she became pregnant, he drastically changed, threatening to kill her, physically assaulting her, and attempting to force her to consume beef.

The victim’s family claims the police delayed registering a complaint against Arwaaz, who is now reportedly absconding.

10. Major terror crackdown: A coordinated anti-terror operation spanning Jodhpur, Jalore, and Karauli in Rajasthan, prompted by National Investigation Agency (NIA) intelligence, led to the arrest of five suspects, including three madrasa clerics: Maulvi Ayub, Masood, and Usman. 8. U.S. Congress members were urged to investigate the event’s funding.

9. Covert Missionary operations uncovered: Villagers in rural Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, reported covert missionary activity operating under the guise of social service. Families were offered free education, medicines, and cash in exchange for accepting Christianity.

Imran is accused under POCSO, IPC, and IT Act provisions.

3. Carolina Murugan Temple Row: A devotional project in Moncure, North Carolina, involving an upcoming Murugan Temple and a 155-foot statue of Murugan, stirred international online backlash. A U.S.-based commentator mocked the construction, calling it “culturally intrusive,” drawing criticism for being derogatory toward Hindu worship practices.

8. Gang rape and blackmail of minor Hindu girl: A 15-year-old Hindu girl was gang-raped at a fair by Danish Khan, Ayub, and others in November 2025. The victims were later blackmailed.

What this week’s tracking unequivocally reveals is a disturbing pattern of tactical violence: from the political assassination of activists like Nilesh Rajak and the fatal assault on a priest’s son, Ramchandra Ghosal, to organized cash for conversion rackets offering Rs 25,000 to coerce the poor, and the widespread use of false identities (like ‘Rohit’ or ‘Shyam’) to groom and exploit Hindu women and minors. The impunity suggested by the alleged cover-up in the Daund minor rape case, the successful operations of terror networks netting three madrasa clerics in Rajasthan, and the fatal violence against Hindu individuals over minor disputes (as seen with Suraj Verma and Jignesh Chaudhary) underscore a crucial demand: Accountability must replace appeasement.

These incidents, occurring from the lanes of Mumbai and the tribal belts of Chhattisgarh to academic halls in New Jersey and refugee claims from Bangladesh, confirm that the challenge to Hindu safety and religious freedom is global, multi-faceted, and deeply organised. The voices suppressed, the women abused, and the community members murdered are a testament to the fact that while the world rushes on, a dedicated effort is required to ensure that justice for the most vulnerable does not become another buried story, but Organiser will keep bringing such stories for its readers.
