Political Islam aims to change the demography by dividing the nation: UP CM Yogi Adityanath

The struggles against British and French colonialism are discussed often, but the fight of our ancestors against political Islam is often overlooked said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

GORAKHPUR: The grand construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is not merely building, but a symbol of Bharat’s self-pride, faith, and the renaissance of Sanatan culture. This moment marks the auspicious beginning of Bharat’s resolve to become a developed nation, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while addressing the Vichar-Parivar Kutumb Sneh Milan and Deepotsav Se Rashtrotsav programme at Gorakhpur.

Yogi Adityanath said, “Is there any Bharatiya whose heart has never wished to visit Ayodhya and have the darshan of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi? For years, devotees of Ram endured humiliation, persecution, lathi charges, and bullets, but never retreated from their resolve. Today, the result of that unwavering faith is before everyone the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.”

He further said that when he became CM, he was shocked to see the condition of Ayodhya. He said, “Deepawali was celebrated all over the country, but Ayodhya remained in darkness. Electricity came barely for two to three hours, the ghats were broken, and there was filth everywhere.”

He said that in 2017, he decided that Deepotsav would be celebrated in Ayodhya itself. In the first year, only 51,000 diyas were lit, but recently, 26 lakh 17 diyas lamps were illuminated in Ayodhya. Slamming Akhilesh Yadav over his remarks of lighting diyas on Diwali, he said, these are the same people who have problems with both Ram and Krishna. When we formed the Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad, Samajwadi Party said that he would install a statue of Duryodhan in Mathura.”

He said, “Our values are rooted in Bhagwan Ram and Krishna, while they are fond of Kansa and Duryodhan. Therefore, these people are not only Ram-drohis but also Krishna-drohis and opponents of Sanatan festivals.”
Yogi Adityanath said that Congress, in an affidavit to the Supreme Court, had stated that Ram and Krishna are myths. “These statements insulted the faith of crores of Hindus,” he said.

He said, “The struggles against British and French colonialism are discussed, but the fight of our ancestors against political Islam is often overlooked. We still remember great warriors like Maharana Sanga, Maharana Pratap, Guru Gobind Singh, and Shivaji Maharaj for this. We gave them the honour of national heroes for the battles they fought.”

“Our ancestors fought major struggles against Political Islam as well, yet this aspect of history remains largely overlooked. This ‘Political Islam’ is the same thing which aims to change the demography by dividing the nation,” he claimed.

“To make people stay alert about this, the RSS is spearheading a campaign to bring society together, which is praiseworthy,” he further said.

The Sangh has instilled a sense of devotion towards the nation in every Indian, he further said.
He also cautioned people to stay away from buying any commodity that has a Halal certification label, since, he alleged, the profits were misused for “terrorism, love-jihad, and conversion.” He claimed that Rs 25,000 crore is earned through Halal certification.

Recalling a recent police operation that unearthed a “religious conversion” racket run by Chhangur Baba alias Jalaluddin in Balrampur district, he said, “Our team was keeping a watch on his activities for the last three years and I used to get an update on the intelligence collection every month. I had alerted the team to lay their hands on him when strong evidence is collected so that effective action is taken. And Jalaluddin was finally arrested. He was involved in anti-social activities,” Yogi Adityanath said.

He said that, Jalaluddin had been getting funds from money collected through Halal certification. “I have banned the sale and purchase of items with such certification. Whenever you go purchasing, watch carefully that you are not buying any such item with this certification. All the money collected through this would go into such conspiracies. Many such ‘Chhangur Babas’ are still active in areas around us,” he alleged.

He warned that even today, conspiracies are being made to divide society in the name of caste, language, and region. Every Bharatiya must remain vigilant so that no force can weaken the unity of the nation.
