Why now?
When Pandit Deendayal Ji articulated his philosophy in 1965, the world was entrenched in the bipolarity of capitalism versus communism. His vision of Integral Humanism was adopted as the doctrine of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, presenting a holistic and indigenous alternative to both Western models. Today, with communism discredited and capitalism struggling to address recurring crises of inequality and sustainability, Ekatma Manav Darshan emerges as a framework for balanced, humane, and dharmic development.
The conclave will revisit Deendayal Ji’s thoughts in the very city, Mumbai, where he had delivered his landmark lectures in 1965.
The discussions will address critical contemporary questions, like:
What is the relevance of Ekatma Manav Darshan in the post-globalisation era?
Can the ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam provide an alternative economic and institutional model for humanity?
How should Bharat respond to emerging technological challenges?
What policy directions rooted in Integral Humanism can guide Bharat’s future development?
The National Stock Exchange, a globally recognised institution that has revolutionised India’s financial markets with transparency, innovation, and governance, provides an apt venue for this event. Its collaboration with Organiser symbolises the meeting of tradition and modernity, drawing from Bharatiya wisdom while embracing global challenges.
Since 1947, Organiser Weekly has been the Voice of the Nation, consistently guided by the ideals of Pandit Deendayal Ji. Even after 75 years of Independence, the task of decolonising minds, thoughts, and institutions remains unfinished. This conclave is a step towards envisioning Bharat as the fountainhead of ideas for global well-being by revisiting and reinterpreting the fundamentals of Ekatma Manav Darshan in contemporary times.
