Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a public rally on July 18 in Durgapur, an industrial township in West Burdwan district. On the evening of July 18, he shared two posts on his official X account, offering a glimpse into the key topics he plans to highlight during his upcoming speech.

PM Modi said in a statement on X that, “West Bengal is suffering due to TMC misrule. People are seeing the BJP with hope and are convinced that only the BJP can deliver on development. Tomorrow, July 18, I will be addressing a @BJPBengal rally in Durgapur. Do join!”
At the same time, the Prime Minister clarified in another post on X that his visit to West Bengal was not solely political, but also aimed at fulfilling administrative responsibilities, including the inauguration of several Central projects in the state.
“Looking forward to being among the people of West Bengal tomorrow, July 18. At a programme in Durgapur, I will lay the foundation stones for various initiatives and inaugurate projects worth over Rs 5,000 crore. These span key sectors like oil and gas, power, railways, and roads,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a post on X.

According to the schedule, the Prime Minister will land at Andal Airport around 2:35 pm and reach the rally venue by 3 pm.
The event site will have two separate stages, one for the Prime Minister’s administrative programme, where multiple Central projects will be inaugurated virtually, and another for his political address. The administrative segment is set for 3:00 to 3:30 pm., followed by the political rally from 3:45 to 4:15 pm. PM Modi is expected to depart for Delhi from Andal Airport at 5 pm.
