The first step of anti-national forces to disintegrate a nation is to demolish its culture and tradition, and in that direction, new narratives are being created to break up Bharat by divisive forces, said J. Nandakumar, National Samyojak of Prajna Pravah. He highlighted this concern at the Mavelikara International Book Festival on February 6 and also emphasized the growing threat of such divisive agendas while speaking on “Modern Narratives and Kerala.”
Nandakumar said that people associated with movements like ‘Cutting South’ promote such narratives, especially in Kerala. Since time immemorial, the people of this country have maintained that it has been a single nation, from the ocean of Kanyakumari to the Himalayas. Narratives like Cutting South are too divisive. These people continuously coin new narratives.
Some individuals, including Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, claim that Sree Narayana Guru did not believe in Sanatana Dharma. They keep repeating this because they do not understand what Sanatana Dharma is. Sree Narayana Gurudev was a proponent of Sanatana Dharma which is not confined within the four walls of any religion; it embraces all. Sannyasins are not restricted to any single religion. Sanatana Dharma is the strength that keeps the country unified. It carries the tradition of consistent progress. No sinister effort can stop or destroy it.
Nandakumar added that fissiparous initiatives like ‘Cutting South’ receive foreign funding. They constantly attempt to undermine our culture and traditions, which keep our country united. They create toolkits for this purpose and leave no stone unturned to spread negative propaganda and introduce a new, harmful culture. Global market forces are behind this agenda. Their aim is to establish their influence by destabilizing powerful countries, with Bharat being their primary target. They try to create chaos by raking up various issues. However, they cannot succeed in this game, as Bharat is blessed with an ancient culture of eternal relevance.
