If BJP workers retaliate against your intolerant actions, the few remaining leaders of the Congress across the country will find it impossible to step out. Do not mistake our patience for weakness. We do not encourage violent politics, but we will not tolerate attacks on us

Hyderabad witnessed high drama on Tuesday, January 7, as Congress workers attacked the BJP State Office in Nampally, over stemmed from BJP’s former MP Ramesh Bidhuri’s controversial remarks against Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi.

The Congress workers attempted to lay siege to the BJP office, leading to a tense atmosphere as BJP workers resisted their efforts. BJP leaders strongly condemned the attack.

In this attack, state general secretary Kasam Venkateshwarlu sustained a severe injury on his head. He was shifted to Nampally Care Hospital and admitted to the emergency ward for treatment. He has been visited and consoled.

Union Minister and Telangana BJP State President Kishan Reddy strongly condemned the violent attack allegedly carried out by Youth Congress workers on the Telangana BJP State Headquarters. Labeling the attackers as “goons and rowdies,” Kishan Reddy criticised the Congress Party for its involvement in the incident, accusing it of resorting to “vindictive and hate-filled politics” under its governance in Telangana.

“It is disgraceful that Congress workers carried out this attack right at the BJP office gate in the presence of the police. Congress goons, accompanied by police, used stones and sticks to attack the office and BJP workers, while the police stood by as mere spectators,” Kishan Reddy said, slamming the inaction of the authorities.

The Union Minister further accused the Congress Party of escalating vindictive and hate-driven politics in Telangana since coming to power. He alleged that the Congress had a history of engineering communal riots to serve its political interests and was now resorting to malicious acts out of frustration, as its governance had lost public trust.

The minister also questioned the involvement of the CM, stating, “It is impossible for such an attack on the BJP office, injuring our workers, to occur without the knowledge of the Chief Minister.”

Issuing a stern warning, Kishan Reddy said, “If BJP workers retaliate against your intolerant actions, the few remaining leaders of the Congress across the country will find it impossible to step out. Do not mistake our patience for weakness. We do not encourage violent politics, but we will not tolerate attacks on us.”

Referring to the recent controversy involving BJP’s former MP Ramesh Bidhuri’s comments on Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi, Reddy criticised the Congress for continuing attacks despite Bidhuri’s apology. He questioned the Congress Party’s moral standing, citing instances where Gandhi-Nehru family members made derogatory remarks about the Prime Minister in the past, yet the BJP refrained from violent protests.

“If we choose to respond in kind, no Congress leader will dare walk on the streets of this country. But that is not our culture. Change your ways. Beware!” Reddy concluded, holding the state government accountable for any further consequences arising from such attacks.

Minister of State for Home Affairs and BJP MP Bandi Sanjay strongly condemned the attack on the BJP State office in Nampally by Congress workers, labeling it a cowardly act of rowdyism. Taking to social media, he criticized the Congress for targeting a space where women and others work tirelessly, questioning the potential consequences had someone been injured. Sanjay warned the Congress that BJP cadres could retaliate if provoked further, emphasizing that the party would not be intimidated by such actions. He demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible for the attack, calling for strict action against the perpetrators.

Congress goons, don’t you dare lay a finger on the BJP office!

If BJP cadres choose to act, we can uproot the very foundations of your Congress party office.

Rajya Sabha MP and BJP OBC Morcha National President Dr. K. Laxman strongly condemned the attack by Congress workers, along with goons, on the BJP State Headquarters and BJP workers.

Dr. Laxman held Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud fully responsible for these attacks. He demanded that the culprits behind the attack be identified and legally prosecuted without delay.

Eetala Rajender, MP of Malkajgiri, strongly condemned the attack on the BJP State office by Congress leaders. He questioned, “Mr. Revanth Reddy, do you have law and order in this state? Is your intelligence functioning properly?”

Medak MP Raghunandan Rao condemned the attack on BJP’s State office by goons and rowdies disguised as Congress workers. He said, “Revanth Reddy and Asaduddin Owaisi must take responsibility for this attack.”

He further added, “Just yesterday, Revanth Reddy, while sharing the stage with Owaisi brothers, masterminded this attack.”

DK Aruna, BJP National Vice-President and MP of Mahabubnagar, condemned the situation, stating, “Such gutter politics won’t work.” She then warned, “Mr. Revanth Reddy, beware…”. She concluded, “If you do not stop these petty politics, you will have to pay the price for it.”
