RANCHI: UP Chief Minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday, November 5 slammed the Hemnat Soren-led Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-Congress government on the issue of corruption, and the promotion of mafia culture in the poll-bound state of Jharkhand.

Addressing a political rally in Kodarma, CM Yogi while comparing the former Rural Development Minister in the Jharkhand government Alamgir Alam to Aurangzeb said, Jharkhand particularly Koderma is the sacred land of Birsa Munda, a land of martyrs. Not one but four souls of Koderma sacrificed their lives fighting the British rule. But what is happening in Jharkhand today?

“I was observing that there was a Alamgir (Aurangzeb) who looted the country, and destroyed its sacred temples and there was also a minister from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha namely Alamgir Alam who looted here. How were bundles of money, the money of poor people of Jharkhand found in his homes, his servant’s homes and other people? said the CM.

“Such a low level of looting cannot be seen anywhere else and that’s why I have come to say, this election is an opportunity to respond to those who have deceived you on the name of development,” he added while asserting that wherever there is a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, they have provided a model of development along respecting heritage.

The UP CM further slammed the JMM led government for patronising mafias in various sector such as land, sand, mining, forest etc. and asserted that the BJP is only party that can guarantee the nation’s security and pride along providing employment to the youths and women’s empowerment.

The way mafias were finished off in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP government will bulldoze them in Jharkhand as well, he added

Adityanath also lambasted at the ruling alliance over infiltration issue, citing that “the way the Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltration are being promoted by these people, if the demography continues to change like this today these people are stopping the yatras (processions), in coming times it will become difficult even to ring bells and blow conches inside your houses.

I have come here to convey “Bhajpa Ko Laiye Ek Rahiye Aur Nek Rahiye (bring BJP here, stay united stay gentle) said CM yogi while asserting that I have repeated it many times this country’s history is witness whenever we have been divided on caste, language and regional lines we have been slaughtered mercilessly.

He further emphasised that the BJP has established peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir by abrogating Article 370. “Bharat is so powerful today that the terrorists have gone in hiding, our Prime Minister is so strong that no country dares to stare us today, earlier China used to stare us but today they are rolling back.”

The I.N.D.I Alliance however play with the pride and security of the country, added CM Yogi while appealing the public to vote and form a BJP government in the state.

He further while accusing the Congress party for creating obstacles in construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya said that “Ramlala now sits in a temple after 500 years and Ramlala consecration has paved way for Mathura and other temples.”

Yogi Adityanath in the day also addressed political rallies in Hazaribagh and Jamshedpur where he reiterated his appeal about being united.

Jharkhand will hold elections for its 81 state assembly seats on November 13 and 20. The campaign for the elections are in full swing in the state where both the prominent parties JMM and the BJP is leaving no stone unturned in winning the voters on their respective sides.
