Bhubaneswar: Veerangna Ahilyabai Holkar dedicated her life to the cultural upliftment of Bharat. A skilled administrator, she not only established Indore on the global stage but also worked tirelessly to preserve and promote the culture of the entire country. Bharat was always at the forefront of Ahilyabai’s mind, embodying the true essence of what a nation represents. Dr Krishna Gopal, Sah Sarkaryvah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, made this observation during a one-day national seminar on Bharatiya cultural integration and Veerangna Ahilyabai Holkar. The event was held at Gangadhar Mehar University, Sambalpur, on October 5, and was jointly organised by Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, Central University Odisha, and GM University Sambalpur.

Dr Krishna Gopal noted that despite facing numerous personal challenges, Veerangna Ahilyabai Holkar remained unwavering in her commitment and earned a reputation as an effective administrator, warrior, and pioneer of economic and cultural renaissance. She championed the cause of comprehensive Bharatiyata in modern times. Queen Ahilyabai Holkar dedicated herself to uniting Bharat  through religious and cultural initiatives, undertaking cultural development projects in 180 locations, from Badrinath Dham in the north to Rameswaram in the south.

He stated that Bharatiya philosophy cannot be compared to Western philosophy. In Bharat, we refer to our nation as Bharat Mata. Educated and learned  women in India have played a significant role in the country’s upliftment. Historically, invaders inflicted various atrocities on women, and British rule not only enslaved India intellectually but also decimated its rich history. Dr. Krishna Gopal emphasized that the time has come to study India anew, guided by Indian philosophy.

During his presidential address at the program, Prof. R. P. Tiwari, Vice Chancellor of Punjab Central University, urged everyone to draw inspiration from the courageous woman Ahilyabai Holkar and to pledge to follow the path she illuminated.

State-Level Research Scholars Conference Organized

A state-level research scholars conference was held on the GM University campus, organized jointly by the Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, Odisha West Province, Central University Odisha, and Gangadhar Mehar University. The chief guest for the conference was Prof. R. P. Tiwari, Vice Chancellor of Punjab Central University, while Dr. Poonam Singh, President of the Braj Province of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, served as the keynote speaker.

In her keynote address, Dr. Poonam Singh emphasised the need to incorporate Bharatiyata into our education. She stated that in order to become Vishwaguru, education must be Indianized.

In his presidential address, Prof R K Tiwari highlighted that all Indians possess some unique skills, which contribute to our economic, social, and intellectual superiority. However, he noted that westernization has eroded these skills. He asserted that the principles of development and economy can be found within our Sanatani traditions. Prof. Tiwari urged everyone to embrace these traditions so that we can once again attain the status of Vishwaguru in social, economic, and intellectualspheres.

The Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal invited research papers from students and researchers on the theme of “Developed India,” which were presented to a panel of experts during the conference.

Odisha( West) Prant  Office of the Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal inaugurated
