Lessons from the partition of Bharat: Shed differences, stand united

It is time Hindus realise the great disservice they are doing to their religion, even to their life, by remaining divided on the basis of caste and creed, region and occupation

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s comment batogay to katogay is a warning signal in the current scenario we are living in, more so when we look back at the history and compares the past with contemporary realities in order to have a future, not just for Hindus but for all who are termed as kafirs by the “religion of peace”. At the same time, the Hindus have to take the CM’s comment in all seriousness, taking into account what all they have faced since the invasion of Sindh by Mir Qasim in the 8th century. This invasion, at the behest of the Khalifa of Turkey, opened the gates for Ghazva-e-Hind and since then the fanatic followers of the “religion of peace”, have been working on it. The only change is in the weapons they use – earlier they had swords, now AK-47s.

The jihadi psyche today works in multi-dimensional ways. It is not just the march of armies and direct invasions to conquer, convert, loot and massacre and destroy temples and murtis like earlier. Today, terrorists are ‘manufactured’, financed and exported. Besides, there is medical jihad, social media jihad, fake-love jihad, population transfer jihad, education jihad, food jihad, economic jihad, sar tan say juda etc. And, the goal is not just Ghazva-e-Hind but Ghazva-e-Europe and Ghazva-e-England! One only has to take a look at the maps made by the ISIS and the Al Qaeda; the fanatics have spread their tentacles in practically every country! What to say of the Mullas and such Islamic scholars who openly boast, that too on Bharatiya TV channels, that today exist 750 crore Muslims across the world and as per the blessings of Allah they will rule the whole world one day. They also openly state that even if Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh join in Bharat and Akhand Bharat is formed, the country will have a Muslim Prime Minister.

But the point is, how many Hindus and Sikhs grasp the meaning of such open threats that also include “remove the police for 20 minutes and see what we can do”.

The “scared and exploited” ones of the “peaceful religion” can chop the hands of a teacher or kill, openly shouting sar tan say juda on the streets in defence of the brutes who cut heads and kill – not just in Bharat but the world over. Even the brutalities perpetuated, a few years back, on Yazidis – enslaving their women, raping, disrobing and putting them in cages before selling them have failed to open the eyes of the so called seculars and liberals. The result is such acts have continued unabated. The seculars turn a blind eye to the brutal acts of violence against minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh, as also against Hindus in many parts of Bharat! Who can forget what Kashmiri Hindus faced in the Valley?

For how long can we remain mute spectators? I am not advocating counter-violence against Muslims, but prepare ourselves for any future violence, we must. This is why I take the comments of UP CM – a timely warning for the very survival of us Hindus. The brutes don’t ask their victims caste or region! For them, just being a Kafir – a non-believer of their faith, is enough to kill. And Strangely, for Hindus, employment and price rise are supreme concerns in life, not life.

Those among the Hindus, who think that Hinduism will survive by ringing bells in temples or doing aarti, the ones who, remain divided in castes and fight each other, are doing the greatest disservice to their religion, even existence.

The most prosperous economy of the world with no dearth of brave warriors to defend the aggressions, lost to invaders, not once but many times, repeatedly. The Hindu genocide continued unabated, not only by the expansionists of “peaceful religion” but also by the Portuguese and British due to their lust of establishing their Colonial empires. The persecution of Hindus and the number of temples that were destroyed, looted or converted into mosques has no parallels anywhere else in the world – yet the Hindu culture has survived. Even the burning down of learning institutions, and rigorous attempts to denounce everything of Hinduism as mythology could not kill the Hindu ethos but we must not forget that the territories of Hindus have kept on shrinking through the years.

How many Hindus know the meaning of Hindukush? ‘Kush’ means massacre and Hindukush means the place where Hindus were massacred! Look at the geographical location of that place of massacre in the map and you‘ll realise that the territory of Hindustan once extended to huge parts of Central and South Asia. Today’s Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh were all the abode of Hindus before the advent and expansion of the “religion of peace”.

So, to say that the Sanatan has flourished is a fallacy. Hindu religious leaders who boast of such a thing are ignoring what Hindus lost and are losing till today. It is true that Hinduism has survived despite all the onslaughts unlike many other civilisations, but at what cost? How much we lost cannot be sidetracked!

And this is what Yogiji is reminding you – in a few simple words, he is pointing out the divisions that led to the massacres, and is warning us to avoid the divisions now or be ready to face the same bloody past once again .

When Qasim attacked Raja Dahir, the neighbouring Hindu kings kept quiet, they did not realise that Qasim had not invaded to conquer just Sindh, but his mission was Ghazva-e-Hind! Worst still was a prophecy made by an astrologer that Islam will henceforth rule, which made many rich Hindus bow before Qasim. In all, about 42,000 Hindus were killed! One only has to read Chachnama to know such realities. Ironically, how Dahir’s daughters avenged Qasim’s brutalities won’t find a place in our history books, courtesy Left secular historians.

If we look at the massacres done by Mohd Ghazni, Mohd Ghori, Allaudin Khalji, Taimur, Babar, Akhbar, Aurangzeb, Nadir Shah, Abdali and others like Bhaktiar Khalji etc, we would find it difficult to calculate the number of Hindus they took back as slaves, and the rapes and loot they committed. Few examples of massacres include Ghazni (20 lakh), The “great” Akbar (40,000 in Chittorgarh, 27,000 at Kumbhalgarh, 20,000 in another city), Allaudin (30,000 Rajputs in a single day in Chittorgarh), Nadirshah (30,000 in six hours in Delhi), Abdali (50,000 in one go and lakhs of Sikhs in Punjab), Taimur (one lakh Hindu prisoners) etc. Then, there were those in Hindustan who were butchered by invaders’ armies in Bengal, Assam, and Deccan etc.

How did they succeed? The answer is: Traitors and divisions! The petty kings did not realise that these invaders had not come to conquer Delhi or Mewar or Punjab! But to capture the entire Hindustan and rule over it! For invaders, it was an attack on Hindustan, not one princely state or the other. They considered Hindustan as one, a country that housed Hindus – the Kafirs, the infidels. Their soldiers were the “holy soldiers” for the spread of their religion and our traitors were their facilitators for some petty gains – Raghav Chetan went to the durbar of Khalji, Jaychand sided against Prithviraj. Many can be added to this list.

The distortions propagated by the Left and the so-called secular historians that these invaders were mere looters and not religious jihadis, their claim that the reasons behind invasions were political, not religious, that temples were not destroyed, swords were not used to convert, etc have all been thrown to dustbin through concrete evidences provided by, none other than, the invaders!

Here, I will share just two examples of this. Badauni has mentioned the Somanath attack in his writings – how the idol was destroyed and sent to Delhi on carts along with the booty and two ranis of the Rawal King of Gujarat. Allaud-din converted both ranis to Islam, married one of them while the other was married to his son. Yet, the Comprehensive History of Saltanat Period, edited by Nizami and Habib, ignores the religious reason behind this attack and distorts the facts by stating that the ranis were sent back “with respect’ to Delhi! How many history books mention that during the batlle of Haldighati when one general of Akbar saw the Rajputs fighting from his side being killed told the other, “See our men are being killed”, the other had replied, “So what! Only kafirs are dying”. This was the psyche then, and this is the psyche now – of fanaticism that has been preached and practiced for years with an aggressive continuity in the contemporary world. This fanatic psyche does not ask a Hindu his caste or any other differentiation.

It is not in Bharat, Pakistan or Afghanistan that Hindus have suffered. Ask the Bharatiya diaspora in Caribbean countries from where a silent exodus is already on, in England or in Canada. What’s happening there remains under the carpet as the media either blocks such news or distorts it calling it a mere law and order issue.

Even in 1947, batay thay aur katay thay (we were divided and got cut). Sadly, there is no change in the psyche. Today, we shiver at the thought of what all cruelties have happened in the past. But have we learnt our lessons? I leave this question with you to ponder over.
