YouTube bans channel of French Journalist Francois Gautier, known for his pro-Sanatan Dharma and anti-Islam stand

Gautier, who is known for his critical perspectives on topics including Islamist extremism and global politics, saw his channel taken down due to alleged violations of YouTube’s Community Guidelines.

The removal of Gautier’s channel has ignited a wave of criticism among social media users and commentators. In March 2021, Twitter suspended Gautier’s account (@fgautier26) following his criticism of climate activist Greta Thunberg and her associate Disha Ravi. The suspension came after Gautier commented on Thunberg’s leaked ‘toolkit’ and its implications for India, which included allegations of Khalistani involvement against India.
