Self-Reliant India Campaign.
Three hundred and forty karyakartas participated in the Swadeshi Jagaran Manch’s largest-ever National Council meeting from June 28 to June 30. It also brought together a record number of 47 women, to chalk out future direction and outline strategies for the betterment of the nation. This landmark meeting was graced with the presence and guidance of honourable V Bhagayya, former Joint General Secretary of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and current National Executive Member.
Enthusiasm for the meeting could be assessed from the fact it saw significant participation not only from SJM members but also from workers associated with the Self-Reliant India Campaign. Various organisations were represented, including Laghu Udyog Bharati, Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat, Sahakar Bharati, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Hindu Jagaran Manch, Environmental Activity, and Akshay Krishi Parivar.
