The sports are a popular, multicultural celebration experienced by many people around the world. Seen in new contexts, these Games represent a new adventure for France. Because France is ready to organise the Olympic and Paralympic Games. From the perspective of French citizens, he says that hosting the world’s largest event will bring change to our country and that this change is inevitable for the good future of France. With Paris 2024, we want the “values of sport” to become an important part of people’s lives and prove that we can achieve excellence while also achieving sustainability.

Certainly, not only does the people of France seem excited about Paris 2024, but there is an atmosphere of happiness throughout Europe. According to the kind of preparations that have been done here so far, this Olympics will be the biggest event ever. The Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024, but with such a huge responsibility, France is currently facing the problem of dealing with terrorist activities. Because France is extremely troubled by Islamic fundamentalism in the whole of Europe today. In such a situation, the French Government needs the support of its friends who can help it in this Mahakumbh of sports. Therefore, France has reminded India to deal with terrorism.

The world knows that India has faced terrorism on a large scale and has gained expertise in security to deal with it. Now France wants India’s special strategy to fight terrorism to be used for the security of “Paris Olympics 2024”. In fact, the spirit of humanity, equality and brotherhood with which France gave shelter to its refugees, today, the same refugees seem bent on doing anything in the name of religion (Islam) in France. Muslims from outside create a sense of community by working with the local Muslims.

After the increasing attacks and violent incidents, the French Government is alert, but it is not easy for it to do anything. In France, rioting occurred in Paris, cities around Lyon, and other large cities such as Toulouse. Operation Sentinel, Operation Vigilant Guardian and the Brussels lockdown were launched due to increased attacks after 2014, yet the terror of Islamic extremists has not diminished in France. Every day, someone is being stabbed, and someone is being shot. Indigenous women of France are increasingly being subjected to sexual violence.

Only last year, the entire country was on fire after the death of 17-year-old Algerian-origin teenager Nahel M at the hands of police near Paris in France. Civil war-like situations arose in many cities. This violent demonstration, which lasted for several days, spread from France to all of Europe, resulting in Islamic terrorism seen in many other countries. The rioters also created havoc in other cities in France, including Paris, Marseille, and Lyon. Many videos of looting surfaced.

Meanwhile, a video of a cleric, Sheikh Abu Taqi al-Din Aldari, also went viral, in which he said, “Through Jihad, France will become an Islamic country and the whole world will come under Islamic rule.” Francio! Embrace Islam, otherwise you will be forced to pay Jizya. “In 2050, Muslims in France will outnumber Frenchmen,” the video, translated by Memri TV, said. But we are not relying on these figures to make France an Islamic country. What we are hoping for is that Muslims should have a country that will spread Islam, its guidance, its light, its message and its mercy to the people through jihad for the sake of Allah.

In just five days of violence over the teen’s murder, 935 buildings were damaged, 5,354 vehicles were burnt, and 6,880 incidents of arson took place. 41 police stations were attacked, 79 policemen were injured. Indeed, France has seen a steady influx of Muslim immigrants, who now number about 6 million and constitute about 8–9 per cent of the total French population. Many estimates suggest that France’s Muslim population is growing at a rate of 17 per cent annually.

How dominant Islamic terrorism is in this country can be gauged from the fact that the attacker entered the police station in Rambouillet near Paris and attacked the female police officer Stephanie with a sharp weapon on her neck, due to which she died on the spot. During this time, the attacker was raising slogans of Allah-Ho-Akbar. 130 people have died here in the Paris attacks. 86 people died after being hit by a truck in Nice city of France.

In Paris, history teacher Samuel Paty was beheaded by Abdullah Anzorov for showing a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad in class under freedom of expression restrictions. 17 people were killed in the attack on the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo over the printing of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed. In a separate incident, two people were stabbed outside the magazine’s headquarters. A terrorist shot dead a police officer on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. When soldiers were attacked at Orly Airport in Paris, there was talk of sacrificing oneself in the name of Allah. Al-Qaeda militants killed three Jewish children, a rabbi and three paratroopers in the town of Talousse, southern France. Many such terrorist incidents are seen happening every day in France.

At present, the French Government is making every possible effort to stop Islamic terrorism, but still there is a fear that some unexpected information may come from somewhere. Now that the Olympics is being held in Paris, the responsibility of the French Government towards all the countries of the world has increased a lot, hence today it has remembered its friend India.

The good thing is that India has also assured France of all possible help in fulfilling its duty of friendship. India is sending a large team of counter-terrorism and internal security experts to France, who are capable of handling every challenge during the Paris Olympics. In such a situation, it has to be said that this security cooperation being given by India to France is showing to the world the strong relations between the two countries as well as its commitment to counter-terrorism and other security challenges.
