India outrightly rejects targeted killing allegations placed on it by Pakistan’s DG-ISPR Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary

Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary, the Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) made a startling claim on May 7, 2024, when he said that Pakistan has irrefutable evidence of India’s involvement in the recent targeted killings of various individuals in the country.

“India’s killing spree has spread to different countries, from the Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in another country, India has been involved in the killings of individuals in Pakistan, said Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary while addressing the media at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

“India totally dismissed the claims and termed them false and fabricated. “India does not do targeted killings and Pakistan should refrain from such allegations,” Indian officials told a media agency. Pakistan has also supplemented the allegations made by the Five Eyes forward.

Five Eyes is an intelligence alliance comprising five English speaking countries, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. They collaborate closely on intelligence gathering and sharing activities and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau went to the alliance claiming that India was behind the murder of Nijjar. The US in a separate case alleged that Indian officials have hatched a plot to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun a designated Khalistani separatist leader based out of New York.

Pakistan has irrefutable evidence of India’s involvement behind the killings said Major General Chaudhary adding that the Pakistani intelligence agencies are aware of India’s plans to divert the attention of people from its internal issues by showing aggression along the border and also by forming anti-Pakistan election narrative.

“We are very well aware and prepared for India’s plan to opt for aggression at the Line of Control (LoC) and divert attention from its internal issues and through an anti-Pakistan narrative during elections,” said Chaudhary as he said that they have been at least 120 speculative 15 airspace and 59 technical violations committed by India along the LoC in 2024 as of now.

Chaudhary also stated India’s plan to suppress the opinions of people in Jammu and Kashmir during the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections is also quite clear. Elections of the five seats o five separate days are only aimed at supressing the voice of Kashmiris and manipulating the poll outcome, he said.
