In a shocking revelation from the Garo Hills region of Meghalaya, a Hindu tribal woman has spoken out against the abduction of a tribal Hindu girl by alleged Rohingya infiltrators just two days before Eid. Despite the gravity of the situation, there has been a conspicuous absence of voices raised and police action to recover the abducted girl.

According to the woman, abduction and forced marriages of tribal Hindu girls are a daily occurrence in Meghalaya, orchestrated by Bangladeshi Rohingya infiltrators.

The revelation comes amidst a two-day visit by a commission team to investigate the Chenga Benga gang rape case. This visit has instilled confidence among Garo Hills Hindus, with over a dozen cases of rape and abduction of Hindu girls documented. This development is poised to have a historic impact on the future of Meghalaya Hindus.

Despite initial skepticism from the Meghalaya Police, the commission’s visit has shed light on the unending series of crimes by Rohingyas in the region.
