In a recent turn of events at the Government Industrial Training Institute in Kollam, the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) made headlines by attempting to obstruct BJP leader G. Krishnakumar, also the NDA candidate from the Kollam parliamentary constituency, from addressing the students on March 27, 2024.
Upon arrival at the ITI premises around noon, G. Krishnakumar, accompanied by his party colleagues, faced resistance from SFI members who vocally protested against what they deemed as BJP propaganda within the campus grounds.
However, undeterred by the opposition, Krishnakumar and his team pressed forward. He condemned the efforts of the SFI to disrupt his election campaign and proceeded to take to the dais, addressing both students and faculty as initially planned.
