Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the result of selection post Phase 9 examinations for graduate and above-level vacancies. According to the results released, a total of 131 candidates have qualified for the next round of the recruitment process.

The Commission has released the additional results as their were vacancies remaining after the initial selection process. “Due to the rejection of candidates during the scrutiny of documents conducted in the Regional Offices to fill up the vacancies, it was found that ample number of suitable candidates were not available for various categories of posts. Therefore, in pursuance of above mentioned provision of the Notice, the Commission is hereby providing additional candidates for various Post-categories on the basis of merit and availability in Computer Based Examination of Phase-IX/2021/Selection Posts.” reads the official notification.

The additional result has been declared based on the scores attained by candidates in the Computer Based Test to fill up all the post vacancies completely. Earlier, the initial result for filling up vacancies was released on July 1, 2022.

It was mentioned in the notice that “In case, during the stage of Scrutiny of documents/final Document Verification, the Commission observes that the vacancy(ies) for a particular category of Post(s) is/are not getting filled up completely, an additional number of candidates who have qualified in the Computer Based Examination, in the order of merit, shall be called only for one more time, at the discretion of the Commission for filling up the number of vacancies not getting filled up, in the ratio of 1:20 for vacancies upto 5 and 1:10 for vacancies more than 5.”

Following this, the SSC has released the additional results on March 22, 2024. Candidates who had secured more than 70 or 30 per cent for the general category and more than 30 per cent or 60 marks in the reserved categories have been considered for the next level of scrutiny. Out of the 131 candidates, 81 belong to the general category and 50 belong to OBC.

The selected 131 candidates will now have to produce the self-attested copy of their educational qualification (EQ), experience, category, age, age-relaxation and other required documents in hard copy along with their online application form to the respective regional offices within three weeks, i.e; within April 12, 2024. These documents will have to be sent to the commission through speed post and must contain “Graduate & above Level” and “Post-Category No.” on the envelope.

According to the official notice released, “Candidates who were earlier declared “Not Qualified” as per result dated 01.07.2022, are considered for qualifying in the Additional Result against the reported post-categories in the ratio of 1:20 or 1:10 (vacancy:candidates), as applicable, in the Computer Based Examination subject to the merit and availability/suitability of candidates. “

The staff selection commission has decided to release the additional result for Selection Post Phase 9 examinations to fill up the vacant positions that were left after the initial round of scrutiny and document verification. These are the posts for which recruitment could not be made due to discrepancies in original documents during verification process at the various regional centres of the commission.
