The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that it will conduct the re-examination for Constable GD Exam 2024 on March 30, 2024. It has issued a Notice PDF regarding the same.

The examination is being conducted for the recruitment of constable in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFS), SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. Due to some venue-specific technical reasons, SSC has decided to re-examine candidates for certain venues/shifts/dates.

Earlier, the exam was conducted from February 20 to March 07, 2024. The re-examination will be conducted on March 30, 2024. Only candidates who appeared for the computer-based online exam from February 20 to March 07, 2024, will have to reappear for the examination as stated in the PDF.

SSC GD Re-exam notice

SSC will conduct the re-exam for 16,185 candidates who appeared in exam centres in Kanpur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Roorkee, Patna, Agra, Prayagraj, Dehradun, Dibrugarh, Itanagar, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Hazaribagh, Meerut, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, and Gaya.

The exam was held in 81 shifts and the list of exam centres where the exam will be held again has been stated in the official notice.

Some days back, the commission had cancelled the SSC Constable GD 2022 results declared on March 15, 2024 for Manipur candidates. The results were withdrawn as the physical and medical tests in respect of the candidates belonging to Manipur were conducted in multiple phases and while processing the result, it was found that the data of one phase was accidentally missed out.
