The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has officially declared the commencement of direct recruitment for assistant professors in the Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service
The exam will be conducted tentatively on August 04, 2024. The date of the interview will shortly be announced by the TN TRB. The TN TRB is offering Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400 for the positions currently available, depending on the post.
The board has announced a total of 4000 vacancies for Assistant Professor positions in different Tamil Nadu government colleges for science, commerce, and arts. Out of those 4000 vacancies, 3921 of them are current vacancies, 72 of them are backlog vacancies, four of them are shortfall vacancies, and three of the vacancies are for teaching computer programmes and Tmail to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.

Candidates will be eligible for the Tamil Nadu Professor Recruitment 2024 if they are between 23 to 57 years of age and hold a Master’s degree with at least 55 per cent marks in a subject relevant to their desired post. Additionally, candidates must also have passed the UGC- National Eligibility Test (NET) or the CSIR.
The TN TRB Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024 Selection Process comprises the following two stages – a written examination and a personal interview. To apply for the TN TRB Assistant Professor Recruitment, candidates must visit the official website of TN TRB i.e. trb.tn.gov.in.

Candidates should register themselves by clicking on the new registration option.
