RBI Assistant Mains exam was conducted on December 31, 2023 results for the same have been announced on the official website of RBI i.e. rbi.org.in on March 6. Aspirants selected through this exam are going to be selected for the 450 vacancies available for RBI Assistant Posts.
Reserve Bank of India conducts Assistant post exam in three stages namely Preliminary, Mains and Language Proficiency Test. All the selected candidates will now sit in the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). 27 candidates are selected for LPT for Ahmedabad, Gujarat Office. RBI Assistant Mains score card and cutoff will be released in the last week of March 2024.

Shortlisted candidates in RBI Assistant Mains 2024 have to now appear for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Candidate’s ability to speak, read and write the official language of the state will be evaluated through LPT. An interview panel will be set up to take the test.
The candidate has to answer the asked question in the state language with fluency. They may ask to speak on a particular topic for a few minutes or may ask conversational questions about you. LPT test duration remains 40-45 minutes including both written and spoken parts.

Candidates are required to bring documents (according to caste and necessity) in the LPT test.
