BPSC Recruitment 2024: Notification out for 6061 headmaster and 40247 head teachers post, registrations from March 11

BPSC has released Bihar Teachers Recruitment Notification 2024 for 6,061 Head Master and 40,247 Head Teachers posts under the Education Department, Government of Bihar. The application process to fill the posts will begin on March 11, 2024

This BPSC Recruitment drive will serve to fill out 6,061 headmaster vacancies under the Education Department and SC & ST Welfare Department, and 40,247 head teacher vacancies in primary schools under the Education Department, Government of Bihar.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications till April 2, 2024, at www.bpsc.bih.nic.in. Along with the notification, BPSC has also released the syllabus PDF for both headmaster and head teachers post.

Total Vacancies for Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024

A total of 46,308 vacancies have been announced against Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024 for each category as follows:

BPSC Recruitment 2024: Head Master Post Vacancies

BPSC Recruitment 2024: Head Teachers Post Vacancies

Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024: Eligibility

The candidate should be 31-47 years of age to apply online for the post of BPSC Head Master while the maximum age limit to apply online for Head Teacher is 60 years.

Other than the age limit, the following eligibility criteria shall be fulfilled by the candidates:

●       Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with at least 50% aggregate marks.

●       Candidate should have completed D.El.Ed/B.T/B.Ed./B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed./B.L.Ed. and teachers eligibility test.

●       Candidates with 8 years of teaching experience as a Secondary teacher in a State Government School, or 12 years of teaching experience as a Secondary teacher in a school having permanent affiliation with CBSE/ACSE/BSEB are also eligible to apply.

Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

You are required to pay a certain amount of application fee to apply for BPSC Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024 as per your category:

Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024: Salary

Once selected, BPSC Head Masters are paid a salary of 35,000 along with various applicable allowances while BPSC Head Teachers are paid a salary of 30,500.

Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

Bihar Teachers Recruitment Selection Process involves the following stages:

Written Exam – Candidates must appear for a written exam consisting of 150 MCQ-type questions on general knowledge and B.Ed. subjects.

Document Verification – Qualified candidates will be required to undergo a document verification process where they have to produce all the original documents to prove their eligibility.

Medical Exam – The final selection is done after a medical exam of the qualified candidates.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to diligently prepare and submit their applications within the specified timeline.
