The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the results of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1 exam on September 27, 2023. A total of 19,556 candidates were shortlisted for various posts, including Data Entry Operator (DEO).
An additional result was declared on December 12, 2023. Shortlisted candidates appeared for the Tier 2 exam between November 2 and January 1. Based on the minimum qualifying marks and online preferences submitted by candidates, 11,467 individuals advanced to the final selection process. In all, 11,467 candidates who submitted their preferences online were considered for further selection process. As per the minimum qualifying cutoff, general candidates with 30 per cent marks in tier 2 exam, OBC/ EWS with 25 per cent, and other category candidates with 20 per cent were declared successful in the selection process.
