“Ram Rajya ab aa raha hai…,” says Acharya Satyendra Das ahead of Ayodhya Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratishtha’

Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir head pujari Acharya Satyendra Das on January 13, said that “Ram Rajya” is coming in Ayodhya as Ram Lalla will be seated in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22.

“We hoped that temple would be built but such a massive mandir we never hoped or thought. The temple is beautiful. We are so happy to see the temple of Bhagwan Ram. Ram rajya ab aa raha hai (Ram Rajya is coming) as Ram Lalla will be seated in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya,” Acharya Das told media.

He further recalled the days when Ram Lalla’s murti appeared in the disputed land and said, “The Ram Lalla murti appeared in the disputed land on December 23, 1949, after which on the orders of the Court the people started worshipping. On March 1, 1992, I became the pujari of Ram Lalla, before that many incidents like Karsevaks were attacked and other incidents took place. After such incidents and when Babri Masjid was demolished, we took Ram Lalla to a tent on December 6, 1992. Today I am happy that Ram mandir is being built.”

“Ram Rajya” is a term used to refer to an ideal governance where everyone is happy.

Condemning the attack on a group of sadhus (ascetics) in West Bengal’s Purulia, Acharya Satyendra Das slammed State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and alleged that whenever Bengal CM sees ‘Bhagwa’ colour she gets angry.

This comes after a video went viral showing a group of seers being purportedly thrashed by a mob in the Purulia district in West Bengal.

“Someone had given the name Mumtaz Khan to Mamata Banerjee as her sympathy is towards Muslims. Maximum attacks on Hindus take place in West Bengal. Attacks have happened on processions on Ram Navami and other religious processions in West Bengal. When the rituals of Maa Durga take place and people go to worship her, then those pandals are destroyed,” Acharya Satyendra Das told media on January 13.

He further alleged that the Chief Minister instigated these kinds of attacks in West Bengal.

“She (Mamata Banerjee) gets angry when she sees the ‘Bhagwa’ colour and this is why she makes these attacks happen…These incidents of attacks are highly condemnable,” he added.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Anurag Thakur also reacted to the incident and said that law and order have been collapsed in West Bengal.

“Appeasement politics has created such an environment. Law and order have collapsed in West Bengal…the question is why is there such anti-Hindu thinking?” Anurag Thakur told reporters on Saturday.

Hindu Mahasabha President Swami Chakrapani Maharaj condemned the attack that happened on sadhus in Purulia. “The incident happened in West Bengal’s Purulia are highly condemnable. The way the Mamata-led government created the Palghar-2 incident is unfortunate,” Swami Chakrapani Maharaj said.

BJP leader and the party’s IT Cell head, Amit Malviya, on January 12 lashed out at the ruling Trinamool Congress, claiming that it was a crime to be Hindu in West Bengal.

A viral footage showed a group of sadhus (ascetics) purportedly stripped and assaulted by a mob in the Purulia district on January 12.

“Absolutely shocking incident reported from Purulia in West Bengal. In a Palghar kind lynching, sadhus travelling to Gangasagar for Makar Sankranti were stripped and beaten by criminals affiliated with the ruling TMC,” Malviya posted from his official X handle on January 12.

“In Mamata Banerjee’s regime, a terrorist like Shahjahan Sheikh gets state protection and sadhus are being lynched. It is a crime to be a Hindu in West Bengal,” the BJP leader added in his post.

Notably, the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Ram Mandir will be held on January 22. Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya will begin on January 16, a week before the main ceremony.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the installation of the murti of Ram Lalla at the grand Manir on January 22. A pujari from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, will perform the main rituals of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22. From January 14 to January 22, Ayodhya will mark the Amrit Mahotsav.

A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya will also be organised, in which thousands of devotees will be fed. Several tent cities are being erected in Ayodhya to accommodate thousands of devotees, who are expected to arrive in the temple town of Uttar Pradesh for the grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’.

According to the Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust, arrangements will be made for 10,000-15,000 people.
