Matha Amritanandamayi Devi receives Rama Mandir Akshata from RSS Pracharak S Sethumadhavan

Maha Amritanandamayi Devi alias Amma, accepted the Akshat consecrated at Rama Mandir, Ayodhya, in connection with the Pran Pratishtha, from senior RSS leader S Sethumadhavan. Sethumadhavan and a team of RSS workers visited Amma at her Ashramam in Kochi on January 6.

Amma was accompanied by several other devotees and monks in the Ashramam. Amma placed flowers on Akshat before receiving it. Sethumadhavan visited famous actor Naren, well known film maker Vinayan  and child artist Devananda to offer Akshat.

The image of Amma reverently accepting the Akshat, touching it to her forehead in a gesture of deep respect, resonated with many across India. This meeting, occurring against the backdrop of the historic Ram Mandir inauguration, signifies a potential softening of traditional divisions between spiritual and ideological spheres.

Preparations are underway in full swing for the Ram Mandir inauguration on January 22, which will draw dignitaries and people from all walks of life.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has decided to enthrone Ram Lalla at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram Mandir at noon on January 22.

Ayodhya, the birthplace of Bhagwan Rama, holds great spiritual, historical and cultural significance for the people of India.
