In a symbolic journey, a 108-foot-long incense stick crafted in Vadodara is making its way to Ayodhya on a specially designed 111-foot-long truck. Created by Gaupalak Vihabhai Bharwad, this 3.5-foot-wide incense stick is environmentally friendly and comprises a blend of five different materials. The ceremonial lighting of this massive incense stick is scheduled for January 22, coinciding with the inauguration of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. It is anticipated to burn continuously for about one and a half months, covering an approximate radius of 50 kilometers.

The departure ceremony in Vadodara witnessed the presence of local Lok Sabha MP, MoS Home, and other dignitaries.

The colossal incense stick is composed of 3000 kg of Gir cow dung, 91 kg of Gir cow ghee, 280 kg of Devdar tree wood, 376 kg of Gugal, 280 kg each of Tal and Jav, 370 kg of Kopra crush, and 425 kg of Havan materials.

The truck’s route will traverse through Vadodara, Halol, Kalol, Godhra, Shahera, Arvalli, Modasa, Shamlaji, Kherwada, Udaipur, Malvada, Savariya Sheth Mandir, Chittor, Bhilwada, Dadiya, Kishangadh, Jaipur, Ghosa Mahendipur, Balaji Choraya, Bharatpur, Faterpur Sikri, Agra, Lucknow, Itava, Kanpur, Unao, Barabanki, and finally, Ayodhya. The journey aims to symbolise unity and spirituality as it covers various cities on its way to the holy city of Ayodhya.
