To ensure strict implementation of the regulations, a “special force” has been established in 102 police stations across Chennai. Comprising two constables led by sub-inspectors, the special force is tasked with arresting individuals who burst firecrackers with a sound exceeding 125 decibels and those who violate the designated time restrictions.
