The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra has said, on January 22 2024, when the Ram Mandir is consecrated simultaneous prayers will be held in nearly 5 lakh temples across the nation. To enable this the Temple authorities, say that it will begin the distribution of ‘Pujit Akshat’ to workers from nearly 45 provinces on November 5.

Akshat is uncooked, unbroken rice that is offered to Gods and Goddesses during rituals. The work of distribution of Pujit Akshat across the country will be done by Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers across the country in a systematic manner.

Next year, after many centuries, the statue of Ram Lalla will be installed in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, the city of Shri Ram. Akshat Puja will be performed in front of Ram Lalla to celebrate the consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla.

“Pujit Akshat’ will be dedicated to the workers who will come to Ayodhya Dham from 45 provinces across the country on November 5 for the invitation to the program to be organised in more than 5 lakh temples across the country on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple ‘Pranpratistha Day’ i.e. January 22, 2024. All those workers will take this Akshat to their provinces. Through this Akshat, people will be invited to the festival in all the cities and villages of the country”, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra said on X.

श्रीराम जन्मभूमि मंदिर प्राणप्रतिष्ठा दिवस अर्थात 22 जनवरी 2024 पर देश भर के पांच लाख से अधिक मंदिरों में आयोजित होने वाले कार्यक्रम के लिए आमंत्रण हेतु 'पूजित अक्षत' 5 नवंबर को देश भर के 45 प्रांतों से अयोध्या धाम पधारे कार्यकर्ताओं को समर्पित किये जायेंगे।

General Secretary of Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust Champat Rai on October 25 had said that the idol of Bhagwan Ram will be installed at Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024. The Ram Janmabhoomi Trust has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the consecration of the Temple.

“Today along with members of Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust we met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We have invited him (PM Modi) to come on January 22 to install the idol of Bhagwan Ram in the in the Garbhagriha. He has accepted our request. He will be present on January 22. The date for ‘Pran Pratishtha’ on January 22 is confirmed,” Champat Rai said.

After receiving the invitation for the consecration ceremony of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, PM Modi said that he feels “blessed” and that it is his good fortune that he will be witnessing such a historic occasion. “Today is a day full of emotions. Recently, the officials of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust came to meet me at my residence. He has invited me to come to Ayodhya on the occasion of the consecration of Ram temple,” PM Modi wrote on X.
