The unveiling of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP)’s 2024 students’ diary was graced by several prominent leaders, including ABVP’s National General Secretary, Yajnavalkya Shukla, National Organising Secretary, Ashish Chauhan, Special Invited Member of ABVP’s National Executive Council, Prof Nagesh Thakur, Delhi State Minister of ABVP, Harsh Atri, Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) Secretary Aparajita, DUSU Joint Secretary Sachin Baisla, and many other student leaders.

The 2024 edition has a striking cover featuring the proposed model of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Aditya L1, India’s linguistic diversity, Bharat Mandapam, Chandrayaan 3, youth engagement, and environmental representation. This diary showcases Bharat’s rich cultural heritage and the organisation’s commitment to various social and environmental causes.

It is noteworthy that ABVP’s 69th Amrit Mahotsavi National Conference is scheduled to take place in Delhi from December 7 to 10, 2023. More than ten thousand students from across the country are expected to participate in this grand event, and preparations for the convention have already begun to ensure its success.

Speaking on the occasion, Yajnavalkya Shukla, the National General Secretary of ABVP, said, “The new students’ diary provides brief information on organisational topics, mentions of festivals in the calendar, and the aspirations of Indian youth, showcasing the progress of India. The release of the ABVP diary is a special moment for every ABVP worker and student.”

The event was a colorful and vibrant affair, reflecting the energy and enthusiasm of ABVP members. The diary serves as a valuable resource for students, providing them with information on a wide range of topics, from academic to cultural, and even the environment.

ABVP, which has a rich history of student activism in India, aims to empower and nurture the nation’s youth, helping them become responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow. The diary plays a significant role in achieving this goal, providing students with valuable insights and knowledge.

The cover of the 2024 diary, featuring the proposed model of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, is a symbol of cultural and historical significance. The construction of the Ram Mandir has been a long-standing aspiration for many in India, and its inclusion on the diary’s cover underscores its importance in the country’s cultural landscape.

Aditya L1, a project focused on space exploration and research, is another highlight of the diary.

The Bharat Mandapam, highlighted in the diary, represents the cultural and spiritual significance of India. It’s a platform that brings together various aspects of Indian heritage and spirituality, creating a sense of unity among its diverse population.

Chandrayaan 3, India’s lunar exploration program, is another theme in the diary. It symbolises India’s commitment to space exploration and its aspirations to reach the moon once again.

The diary also emphasises youth engagement, recognizing the importance of the youth in shaping India’s future. ABVP encourages young students to actively participate in societal and environmental causes, empowering them to be change-makers in their communities.

Environmental representation is a significant focus in the diary, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices. As environmental concerns become increasingly urgent, it is crucial for young minds to be aware and engaged in addressing these issues.

ABVP’s National Conference in the Amrit Mahotsav Year, is a significant upcoming event. It will provide a platform for over ten thousand students from all over India to come together, exchange ideas, and work towards the betterment of the nation. The preparations for this conference are in full swing to make it a grand and successful gathering of young minds.
