However, in one of its northeastern states, Nagaland, the dream of a crucial institution—an independent medical college—remained unfulfilled for decades, But thanks to Modi governement, This aspiration became a reality on October 14, 2023, when the Nagaland Institute of Medical Science and Research (NIMSR) was inaugurated, marking a historic milestone.
