RSS Samanvay Baithak 2023 organised in Pune — Here’s all you need to know

The Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak (coordination meeting) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) started in Pune on September 14. The three-day meeting is organised to discuss various social issues, from social harmony to national security, revolving around five main objectives. These are namely; an environment-friendly lifestyle, a life-value-based family system, an insistence on harmony, Swadeshi conduct, and performance of civic duties. The meeting comprises as many as 266 dignitaries and key officials of the RSS from 36 different branches of the organisation, it will conclude on September 16.

Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil ji Ambekar shared the details about the meeting on September 13, during a press conference. RSS Paschim Maharashtra Prant Karyavah Dr Praveenji Dabadghav was also present at the press meet.

“The event aims to facilitate collaboration among organisations inspired by the RSS, which operate independently across Bharat. They convene annually to exchange experiences, learn from one another, and collectively pursue their shared objectives in nation-building,” said Ambekar ji.

“The primary purpose of the meeting is to address societal challenges, establish a clear direction, and work with a sense of national unity to accelerate progress. Representatives from diverse organisations, active in numerous fields, will participate, sharing their experiences and insights regarding the national and current context. Deliberations will encompass various topics, and organisations will outline their future plans and objectives,” he added.

Ambekar ji emphasized that the discussions over the three days will encompass several critical themes, including ongoing efforts for social change, the importance of instilling values in family life, environmental protection, Swadeshi economic policies, and fostering harmony to combat caste discrimination.

Ambedkar Ji said that Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan ji Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya ji Hosabale, all the Sah Sarkaryavah Dr Krishnagopal ji, Dr Manmohan Vaidya ji, Arun Kumar ji, Mukunda ji and Ramdutt ji Chakradhar will attend the meeting.

Additionally, representatives of Vidya Bharti, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Saksham, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Seva Bharti, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Bharatiya Janata Party, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and other allied organisations will participate in the meeting.

The meeting is organised every year, last year it was organised in Chhattisgarh.

It is important to mention that RSS swayamsevaks are constantly working to serve the country through their shakha activities. In addition to the Shakhas, they are involved in a variety of social activities. All of those tasks are for nation-building and sewa (service) of Bharat and its people. The 36 organisations in attendance are all Sangh-inspired and operate independently in all facets of social life. Once a year, these organisations come together to exchange work and experiences and gain an understanding of one another. The goals and objectives shared by all of these organisations are identical. Many organisations work together and such collective work is also discussed in the meetings.

The purpose of the meeting is to compile the challenges faced by the society, decide a direction and work with national spirit, so that the pace of work can increase. Representatives of different organisations working in almost every walk of life will participate in it. All these organisations have been active in social life for many years and with their hard work they have created a special place in their respective fields. They will share their experiences of their respective fields in this meeting. They will also narrate their experiences here in the context of the national situation and current scenario. There will also be fundamental deliberations on many topics related to it and they will also share their plans here about what is the future direction of the organisation, what they have thought in their respective fields etc.
