In a shocking incident that has stormed social media, a minor Dalit girl in Begusarai of Bihar has been stripped naked and beaten up mercilessly by a few men in her village after they allegedly found the girl with her music teacher in an objectionable position in Pakthaul village under Teghda police stations limits on July 20 night.

As per the reports, the victim girl (14), who was a student of the accused music teacher Kishundev Chaurasiya of the same village, had gone to take music classes when Chaurasiya allegedly tried to rape her.

Meanwhile, after knowing about the presence of a girl with Chaurasiya, a few other village men barged into the room and caught them allegedly in an objectionable position.

The accused men then mercilessly thrashed both Chaurasiya and the victim girl after stripping them naked, while one of the accused also recorded the whole act on his phone and made it viral. In the viral video about the incident, the accused men can be seen thrashing and stripping Chaurasiya and the victim girl while the girl can be heard pleading for mercy.

It’s been learnt that following the outrage after the video went viral on social media, the Bihar police on July 21 arrested the accused music teacher while a special team was formed to nab the other absconding accused.

Speaking with the media Superintendent of Police (SP) Begusarai, Yogendra Kumar, said that the “main accused Kishundev Chaurasiya has been in a relationship with the minor girl from his neighborhood and a few people caught him red handed with the girl in an objectionable state on Thursday night following which they were beaten up.”

“We have taken the matter seriously and on the basis of the victim girl statement an FIR under section 341/323/342/376/374 BCD/ 34 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), 4/6/8 of POCSO act, 67 (B) IT act and 3 (1) (w), 3 (2) (v) of SC ST act has already been registered against all the four accused, the main accused of the case Kishundev Chaurasiya has already been arrested and others accused are being hunted”, added SP Kumar.

The district police on July 21, in a press release, also informed that a special team under SDPO, Teghda, has already been constituted in the case, and efforts are on to nab the remaining accused. The Victim girl’s medical is being done, and her statement under IPC 164 will be lodged before the magistrate on July 22; read the press release further.

@BJP4Bihar pic.twitter.com/nL62O0HXTd

Meanwhile, interacting with the media, Bihar Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Samrat Chaudhary while terming the incident extremely unfortunate, said that ” a Dalit daughter was stripped and beaten mercilessly in Bihar, it’s an extremely unfortunate incident, the Bihar government was making a hue and cry over incidents of other states till yesterday but look what is happening with the daughter of Bihar while the Nitish-Tejaswi government is sleeping, strict action should be taken against the accused.

It is to be noted that the law and order situation of the central Indian state is under scanner lately, where the opposition BJP has been continuously targeting the incumbent chief minister for ignoring significant issues of state affairs to pursue his ambition for a bigger National level role in the upcoming general election scheduled to be held in 2024.
