New Education Policy: Way to bring prosperity to nation and the world

The flawed education system introduced by Macaulay with the express purpose of enslaving every Bharatiya to the British thought process and instilling disdain for Bharatiya culture and Dharma. If he were living today, he would have applauded the Nehru Gandhi family and be extremely glad for the continuation of his policies after freedom from British hands, despite knowing that it is bad for the nation and individual character development.

The imprisoned mindset and politically selfish parties are now opposing the Modi government’s new education policy because it will bring down their selfish intent on filling pockets and enjoying power if the mass populace continues enslaved by the Macaulay education system. It is encouraging to see CBSE and a few states moving forward with NEP 2020 implementation step by step, despite the hurdles given by skeptics such as poisoning people’s minds in order to undermine this plan of action.

The goal of any educational system should be on developing life skills and a strong mindset in accordance with the nation-first thought process, which implies developing personal and national character. This was the foundation of our ancient educational system, which was built on studying cultural and spiritual aspects while also developing scientific and technological mindsets through practical applications.

You can’t develop a class of people with a national ethos at their core, developing life skills that are necessary to ethically nurture individual potentials and become a successful entrepreneur, politician, social worker, or any other specialized skill using Macaulay’s rotten education system. This flawed education system is to blame for slow socioeconomic growth, the increase of antisocial elements, corruption, and corrupt mindsets over the years. It is time to focus on developing and implementing new education policies that are both qualitative and efficient in order to transform our nation into the “Vishwaguru” that Bharat is based on.

The realization of ‘Vyashti’ (Individual spiritual practice), ‘Samashti’ (Collective Spiritual Practice), ‘Srishti’ (Creation), and ‘Parameshti’ (Creator or divine) according to Bharathiya ethos is the essence of his thought. Education is the means via which these enlightened principles can be realized. Only formal education can’t help children create a well-rounded personality. As a result, he advocated for a combination of formal school education and Informal Sanskaar Shiksha for pupils.

The main value of Upadhyaya ji’s educational philosophy is nationalist thought process. In his opinion, Bharat represents not only the country’s physical oneness, but also the Bharatiya way of life, displaying unity in variety. As a result, Bharat is not only a political slogan that we embraced because of the circumstances, but it is the foundation of our entire ideology.

The ideals of Vedic education have inspired all educational systems around the world. Because the educational atmosphere has become so toxic as a result of indiscipline, it has become a major difficulty for modern institutions to deal with pupils and transmit moral principles. Majority of Modern students have no sense of discipline. We may use technology to improve our knowledge and talents, but we have made it destructive by solely using it for enjoyment. The ultimate goal of Vedic education was to build personality and character.
Those who regard English as the cause and tool of Bharat’s National Consciousness appear to overlook the positive aspects of our Nationalism.

Macaulay’s prophesy appears to have come true, and the English-educated inhabitants of Bharat have remained Bharatiya in name only. These people are incapable of realizing Bharat’s soul or inspiring the people to strive for any constructive objectives. As long as English is used, there will be an unbridgeable chasm between leaders and followers. It will either cause the people to remain passive with a sense of oppression and subordination, or it will cause them to revolt against the leadership.

How will the new education policy influence the prospects of the next generation?

Numerous research and in-depth analyses have proven that the success of an individual or an organization is dependent on how well the mind is handled and different life skills are learned. Unfortunately, Macaulay’s education system does not provide such education to our students, resulting in a weak mindset, no life skills developed in our generations, no clear focus on innovation, research, and development, only job seeker mindset, and no focus on entrepreneurship.

This has resulted in an increase in cases of drug abuse, antisocial elements, part of political anti-national toolkit, depression, anxiety, and suicidal tendency, and suicides every year. A new education policy is being developed in order to keep our students’ overall development in mind, so that life skills learned with a stronger and positive mindset, as well as modern education with a focus on research and development, will change the negative mindset and thought process to an extremely positive and attitude of job creator rather than job seeker. Technology transfer will begin from India to other nations; currently, it is the other way around. Research and development will lay the way for long-term development that is not harmful to the environment. Humanity will take precedence above consumerism.

When the world enters the era of artificial intelligence, it is critical that it not be misused, as this will seriously damage mankind and the human mindset. As a result, the spiritual dimension of the New Education Policy will equip our students with ethical practices, allowing them to lead the world’s experts on AI with an appropriate outlook, direction, and balanced use of technology.

The Australian Education Minister, Jason Clare, remarked that India’s National Education Policy (NEP) has the ability to revolutionize the country and propel it to the ranks of the world’s leading economic superpowers. He also asserted that the NEP will provide the younger generation of Indians with skills that would be helpful to their future, as well as erase social inequities in school participation, access, and learning results.

Every Bharatiya must analyze the statement made by the Australian Education Minister; if the Australian Education Minister can understand the significance of NEP 2020, why is it so difficult for us to understand the significance simply because a few politicians, their parties, and the so-called selfish intellectual class want Bharatiyas to remain slaves of the western thought process?
